Because after Monday Night Football (one of the worst referee cluster effs ever) I OCDed over my iTunes/iPod sync. Somewhere along the way the iPod I use for ad-free music in the car had lost all its playlists, and a chunk of its songs. Very frustrating to pull up all the songs from Rose Sirinthip, of which I had downloaded two CDs, and discover only one song was there. It was my favorite from the 1st CD, but I wanted to hear the fave from the 2nd.
Freezer news: The ice cube tray in the fridge is too narrow to fit the two trays which were in it, so now one lives in the freezer, and when the one in the fridge runs out, I fill it, put it in the freezer, and take the one out of the freezer and put it in the fridge. So I decided to take out the shelf and de-ice it. In the process I knocked out a stay, and discovered that this fridge has an ice maker. The plumbing was never done, but maybe I can get that fixed.
Work was a lot of observing. Machine kept crashing, which made it tough to test closed captioning.
Lunch was Togo’s, Asian chicken salad with real Asian chickens.
Reading a book by Somthow which marked his turning 50. One story in it pointed me to a master of Science Fiction of whom I had not heard. Apparently John Wyndham’s The Midwich Cuckoos is required reading at Eaton. So it’s on my kindle now.
Straight home after work. MNF, iPod and here we are.
Plans for tomorrow:
