And as I passed the garbage dump, I saw there was a flock of sheep, scraggly looking (winter coats still on) with almost as many rams as ewes. A pretty elderly herd, I think, judging from the prodigious horns on many of the rams.
In the park I followed the trail by the marshlands, and saw a couple of avocets and Fosters terns among the Canada geese, mallards and swallows. There's a long boardwalk out over the wetlands, with a park bench at the end.
