She's back

The weather this morning turned dark & windy & cloudy. I kept the carport door open (screen closed) and at about 10 I heard meowing but when I went outside, did not see the cat.

Back to watching football, and Spook suddenly got up and went to the carport door. Zoe was across the carport on the neighbor's property. I walked past the garden strip to her, and when she recognized me she came right to me. I picked her up and carried her inside. Spook cleared out when I came inside.

Fed her a can of wet food, she spilled almost as much as she ate.

Back to ironing shirts & watching football in the bedroom - Spook camped out in the closet - then back to the laundry room, Zoe came out to be petted. I carried her to the office and put her on the cat tree.

I hope Spook continues to leave her alone...

I'm glad to hear she came back and, apparently, so willingly so if she gets loose again, it might not be as stressful.
