Boss was very low key, I think he was surprised I didn't bail early. I just don't work like that.
Found time to say goodbye to almost everyone I wanted to. A couple of folks came by the office after I sent my "Goodbye, and Thanks For All The Fish" email. I was especially happy to find one particular person in her office. Someone I have a bit of a crush on, I think she's DDG, partly because of her looks, but also because she's bright and charming. And spoken for, of course, darn it.
Got everything done I'd planned on, except my office mate did not buy the PDA, he couldn't figure out how to make it work, and I was busy elsewhere. Nice guy, smart, but he has a mental block against anything with a Windows operating system. The machine needed resetting to its factory defaults, which is easy enough to do if you go online and look through HP's support pages, which is what I did when I got home tonight. I'll sell it on eBay. Unless someone here wants to buy:
- HP iPaq rx1995
- USB/power cradle
- USB/power adapter (not a cradle, but does the same function)
- Car charger
- extra styli
- extra battery
- clear plastic case
- black cloth case
- manual
- Applications CD
- Original box
Bought some goodies in the company store. T-shirts (one which says "backward compatible" mirror imaged), brain in a petri dish, a Rube Goldberg-ish toy, and a little stuffed cow with a microsoft T-shirt on her. Which I gave to the fellow who plays our Jekyll's Father. The story goes like this - in this role he's corpse-like on a gurney, in a straitjacket. We wanted to get him a teddy bear in a straitjacket, but the only ones we could find were $250 on eBay. It's a long story.
J-H was pretty good tonight. I got out all my lines, did the songs well, and after the quartet someone in the audience said "wow" loud enough for everyone to hear. The final scene was the best it has ever been. Lots of standing ovation. Good to see

Tomorrow: buy an eraser and erase my notes from the original script (that won't take long, after a couple of rehearsals I copied the script and wrote my notes on the copy).
PetSmart - buy some flea stuff for the kitties, and maybe see
Now: get some sleep.
